Maniac — Hunt or Be Hunted

Maniac is a multiplayer survival horror where each match turns into a brutal game of predator and prey. One player becomes the Murderer, while the others take on the role of desperate Victims, trapped inside cursed locations with no escape.

The survivors must scavenge for weapons, set traps, and work together to defeat the killer before they fall one by one. The Maniac is always hunting — and time is running out.

Locations

The House

An unassuming suburban home hiding a horrific secret. Narrow corridors, tight corners, and countless places to ambush or hide.

The Abandoned Mansion

A decayed, forgotten estate, where the walls whisper of old sins. Shadows linger in every room — and so does death.

Abilities & Mechanics

Murderer

• Attack (Left Mouse Button) — Strike nearby victims to deal damage (1 sec cooldown)
• Reveal Victims (X) — Temporarily highlight all victims’ positions (120 sec cooldown)
• Auto Lock-On (Hold Right Mouse Button) — After aiming at a victim, hold RMB to lock on. Victims can dodge this by crouching.
• Can pick up traps left by victims

Victims

• Move (WASD + Mouse)
• Jump (Space) — 1 sec cooldown
• Sprint (Shift) — consumes stamina
• Crouch (C) — hide or dodge a Murderer’s lock-on
• Flashlight (Z) — 5 seconds use, 5 seconds cooldown
• Pick Up Items (F)
• Place Trap (G)
• Fire Weapon (Left Mouse Button) — if armed (10 sec cooldown)
